Learn How to Raise Honeybees! WHEN: January 28, 2023 COST: $15 per individual or $30 per family! TIME: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM - Pre-register ONLINE! WHERE: Bee excited! The public is invited to learn from experienced local beekeepers. We will provide a first-class opportunity for you to get started by covering topics like bee-hive equipment, hive management, bee-disease control, sources of nectar and pollen, how to install packaged bees and install nucs and more. You don’t want to miss this! Attend the course by becoming a member of Memphis Area Beekeeping Association! You can do this online by pre-registering, or you can pay in person the day of the event. $15 includes 1 year membership, one day course (includes BBQ lunch and refreshments) and new beekeepers (never kept bees ever) even get a chance to win a free hive with bees and basic beekeeping kit (a value of over $500.00).
