LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION and EXCAVATION COMPANY NOW HIRING Se habla Espanol FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT, 12 MONTHS A YEAR: WORK YEAR ROUND BI-LINGUAL SPEAKER PREFERRED $27.00/hour and up DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE Come work for an established private contractor on commercial projects in GATLINBURG, TN Potential 4 day work week available! We perform all aspects of excavation and landscape construction: grading and dirt work; plantings and irrigation; hardscapes, demolition and excavation; road building; retaining walls, etc. FOREMAN and WORKER POSITIONS AVAILABLE Required Experience: FOREMAN: ABILITY TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND SOLVE PROBLEMS ABILITY TO WORK UNDER SUPERVISION AS WELL AS INDEPENDENTLY Listen to, understand, and follow instruction and direction 10 years PREFERRED proven and demonstrated experience leading crews on residential/commercial landscape construction projects Experience reading and implementing construction plans EXPERIENCE RUNNING, MAINTAINING, AND OPERATING SKID STEERS AND EXCAVATORS Solid knowledge of building irrigation systems Knowledge of local plantings and how to properly plant them Experience operating and maintaining excavators, skid steers, trucks and trailers Ability to lead coworkers through day to day jobsite tasks Ability to work side by side with coworkers, performing daily build tasks, as well as teaching less experienced coworkers how to perform those tasks Ability to keep and maintain daily records such as time sheets, purchase orders, etc. Ability to work through the winter and inclement weather Ability to come to work sober every day and work 40 hours or more each week, with possible 4 - 10 hour day work weeks possible, to provide a 3 day weekend Resume and 3 positive references required WORKER: Ability to perform day to day landscape construction tasks such as following instruction, lifting heavy objects, planting plants and trees, working on steep and difficult terrain during inclement weather, building sprinkler systems, etc. Ability to come to work on time and sober each day Ability to work as a team Will train to perform required tasks No experience necessary but preferred 3 positive employer references $20/HOUR UNIFORM/BOOTS ALLOWANCE PROVIDED POSSIBLE HOUSING PROVIDED SEND YOUR RESUME AND REFERENCES TO THE CRAIGS LIST EMAIL LINK PROVIDED Se habla espanol
