I'm looking to hire someone part time and occasionally to help me prep cars to sell. I need someone who knows how to recondition a car to make it look better, and who understands what should be fixed mechanically and what doesn't need to be fixed mechanically on a car. I need someone who understands how to turn a neglected car into a good reliable car that can be sold at a fair price at a reasonable profit. You don't necessarily have to do the mechanical work, but you'd at least need to know how to recondition cosmetically and also have good judgement about whether to spend money or not on mechanical repairs. I'm a car dealer and I get repo's occasionally that I need to resale, and I also buy cars at dealer and insurance auctions. My previous recon guys have retired or moved, so I need to find one or more new "go to" guys. If you know how to flip cars, you could do this as an occassional job, or if you really love flipping, we could do some serious business together to make this a lucrative side gig for you.
