Mowing Division Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to manage lawn maintenance crews for the coming 2023 season and beyond. Starting wage is based on experience. MOWING MANAGER This position will supervise the mowing crews of Nickett Landscaping. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Deciding how each crew will be staffed each day • Be available for crew foreman to bring questions, issues or problems • Interact with clients when necessary • Work with mechanic to ensure there is enough working equipment for each crew each day and enforce maintenance schedule • Training new employees • Ensuring all lawns get done each week, assisting in crew efficiency. • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and regulations REQUIREMENTS • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Must be detail oriented and enjoy working outdoors. Able to tolerate a variety of weather conditions • Capable of operating various small engine equipment (Z-Turn, Sand On rider, string trimmer, blower) • Prior experience running a mowing crews (2 years preferred) • Ability to solve problems in the field, manage deadlines and complete work correctly the first time. • Available for snow removal season • Must be able to work long hours during the busy season, including Saturdays when necessary.
