Influences - Rival Schools, Hum, Foo Fighters, Sunny Day Real Estate, Appleseed Cast, Interpol, Get Up Kids, Texas is the Reason. You will be responsible for writing lyrics and vocal melodies, and if you are also a songwriter, your input on song arrangements and dynamics will be super valuable. We get together on Wednesday nights in Ferndale, but can be a bit flexible on that. Our goal is to write enough material for a set and to play gigs here and there. We'd love to record an album as well. 5 songs completed and more in the hopper. Ages range from 31-41 and we all have 9-5 type jobs and responsibilities, so someone who isn't looking to takeover the world is probably ideal. We've all been in gigging bands before and want to have some fun. We all have good gear, transportation, and positive attitudes. Please be prepared to provide audio samples of yourself singing. Even if it's just a smartphone recording.
