Carefree Lawn Sprinklers, Inc is a top-tier residential and commercial irrigation install and service company in New Lenox, IL. We’ve proudly served the Chicagoland area for over 35 years, and we’re growing! All levels of experience are welcome. Candidate requirements: SERVICE TECHS • Must be available to work Monday through Saturday during peak season times (April – July and Mid-September through November). • Able to properly communicate with customers and other team members in a friendly professional manner. • Must have knowledge that pertains to irrigation both electrical and hydraulics. • Understands the workings of irrigation systems and the proper process to diagnose issues on these systems. • Ability to carry out specific instructions given by leadership. • Maintain organized paperwork and data entry for appointments. • Possess time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines. • Be flexible to work independently and with other team members. • Ability to work in changing conditions in the work environment. • Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation. • Starting Pay $18 - $25 PER HOUR (based on experience) Benefits: • Use of company phone on the job. • Sales bonuses. • Paid for lunch (30 minutes) and for drive time between jobs. • Paid Holidays after 1st year. • All irrigation related training paid for by Carefree LABORERS / TECH ASSISTANTS • Valid driver’s license preferred but not required (Required to be eligible for advancement to Service Technician) • Reliable transportation. • Ability to take instructions from senior employees and service techs. • Ability to work in changing conditions in the work environment. • Background in landscaping and or irrigation preferred but not required.
