ISO 1/4 acre to 10 acres to lease for gardening and raising some animals (possibly chickens, ducks, sheep). Can be any type of land (forested, sloped, rocky, marshy, etc is ok!) I will be growing and raising food for myself. Depending on the amount of space and other property features, I will also be experimenting with various small scale agricultural enterprises. I am open to discussing a lease amount and/or trade opportunities such as mucking horse stalls, giving you a share of my produce and animal products, basic property maintenance, household assistance, etc. I have 20+ years of varied experience in agriculture, landscaping, construction, and also caregiving. I have some health issues and I work full time in construction, so I can't be superman but I am more than happy to help with what I can. It would be wonderful if you had a room I could stay in as well, or the opportunity for me to build/ fix some kind of dwelling, but I'm at least looking for land that's not too far away from my current residence…essentially somewhere not too far from Lancaster City/ Willow Street. I'm a respectful person, relatively clean, no drama, clean background, looking for easy going folks to work with. Great opportunity for older folks who could use a younger back nearby or someone who just enjoys having homestead/ farmette type activities going on at their property!
