RSSI Roofing Company is a commercial/government roofing contractor specializing in a wide variety of roofing systems including built-up, modified, TPO, PVC, EPDM, slate and tile, shingles, metal, and various coatings. We are currently seeking qualified applicants to fill roofing positions. The company's main shop is located in Essex MD, with the majority of the work performed on military bases through Central MD, DC and VA. As a requirement of employment, travel will be necessary to various job sites in these areas. Ability to gain access on a military base is vital to employment. Applicants must possess a valid Driver's License and a reliable mode of transportation. All positions are full-time, with the possibility of overtime, and will be scheduled anywhere from 6am-6pm, Monday-Saturday. Starting pay negotiable based off experience. Responsibilities (not limited to): Apply adhesives to construction materials. Install partially overlapping layers of material over roof insulation surfaces, using chalk lines, gauges on shingling hatchets, or lines on shingles. Apply plastic coatings, membranes, fiberglass, or felt over sloped roofs before applying shingles. Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing systems, using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions. Apply sealants or other protective coatings. Install vapor barriers or layers of insulation on flat roofs.
