During this class you will join us (Tawny & Allie) as we walk you through the wood bowl candle making process. You will have the option to choose a traditional Dough Bowl, Baguette Bowl, or Large Heart. The wood bowls we use are all hand-carved in Mexico and there are no 2 alike, they are all unique in size and shape. This is a 2 hour, completely hands on, class where you will get to pick out your own wood bowl vessel(s) and favorite fragrance. We will then guide you through the process of wicking your bowl(s), and then measuring and blending your fragrance with hot melted soy wax. Next, you will hand pour this special mix into the bowl(s) you have chosen to create a beautiful hand crafted candle you can proudly show off to family and friends as your own. Because you will be using only soy wax, you will be able to repurpose the candle once it is done burning and give it a new life, we will explain everything during the class. DETAILS: Cost of the class ticket is $35. This covers your instruction and materials.You will pick out your own wood bowl and can choose from a classic dough bowl, baguette bowl, or heart. All of these will be available in two colors brown and white. The cost of the wood bowl(s) you choose is separate and this will be paid for at the end of the class. Dough Bowl - $20 (Retails for $40)Baguette - $35 (Retails for $75)Heart - $35 (Retails for $75) **YOU MAY CREATE UP TO 3 CANDLES - 2 can be wood bowls You are welcome to BYOB (wine, beer, etc.) and snacks. A beverage cooler and bar are available for your convenience. There is also a brewery next door that has crawlers available for purchase. Age requirements: Because you will be handling hot wax and fragrance oils you must be 18 or older to attend. Please feel free to call us with any questions about the age requirement.Classes start on time so please be prompt and call ahead if you will be running late. Any no shows or cancellations within 48 hours of a class will be non-refundable. *Candles will take 60-90 min to be set up enough to bring home with you*. If you would like to wait for your candle to be ready, you can shop our retail, visit one of the restaurants, or breweries located within feet from us. If you don't want to wait you can come back any other day our store is open to pick up, we will hold it until you come back. We can ship your candle to you for a shipping fee of $10 per item. **This class is meant to be an experience NOT a candle course for learning how to start a candle business. If you have a candle company or are looking to take this class to learn how to start a candle company, this is not the class for you.
