Description

I am rehoming my 2 year old New Caledonia Giant Gecko Although they are Extremely Easy to care for, does not require Uva /Uvb and only a small heat mat in the corner, which is considered not necessary if your room is 73-81 degrees -- This is An Advanced Reptile! Leachie geckos can make a loud growling noise, and local people call it "the devil in the trees". Like many chameleons, New Caledonian Geckos can change the color of their skin They eat Crested Gecko Food, along with fruits and an occasional cricket or two. Leachie Geckos are very much of the time cage territorial, and will allow you to hold them much easier once removed from the cage. I have very much worked with this Leachie and hold it often, and it will sit on your shoulder. But again, while in the cage they are known to bark growl, etc. This is common with this species. These are not for children. Leachie are not a hard specifies to care for if you are familiar with reptiles, but for a beginner this is not for you.* I purchased the gecko as a small baby which is extremely rare, from a person who was selling them at Repticon. The reason I am re homing the gecko is times are not like they used to be, and can use the money this year. I have not determined the gender of the Gecko for certain, as you need to look with basically a Jewelers microscope, and look closely within the pores of the Gecko to see. . This specific Leachie is Pine Island - and can turn from bright green to dark green depending on if it is flared up. I am asking for re homing fee of 650, which is less than what I purchased them for. Please do research on morph market before contacting me. Thanks for reading and have a great week! Matt
