San Carlos Week of the Family Bike Safety Day is Sunday, January 22, 2023, inspiring safe, responsible riding and bike care in our youth riders and families. There are two parts: From 10AM-1PM is the Bike Safety Educational Event at Central Middle School blacktop. Join for a fun, LEGO-themed event teaching youth safe riding skills, rules of the road and basic bike maintenance/roadside repair. Includes a riding practice challenge course, donuts & prizes (Rain date is Sun, Jan 29, 2023, 10am-1pm). Sponsored by San Carlos Bikes, San Carlos Community Foundation, San Mateo County Office of Education and San Mateo County Sheriff. All ages welcome. Bike Maintenance education is for everyone, but the riding practice challenge course is geared toward K-8th graders. Please register to attend. We need volunteers!
