As part of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTCSNV) Complete Street Initiative, the city is studying a 6.6-mile segment of Rancho Drive from Rainbow Boulevard to Mesquite Avenue to determine if it can be made a Complete Street.
Complete Streets are roads that are designed to be safe, comfortable, and attractive places for all users.
The city of Las Vegas in collaboration with the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) wants to discuss what this looks like to the community and be more intentional with long-term impact in community outreach.
A Community Conversation is an informal event where community members come together to address and discuss specific topics to better understand the concerns people have, their aspirations for the community, and what they believe might make a difference in strengthening the community.
A few topics that will be addressed include:
Roadway safety
Pedestrian, bicycle, and transit connections
