Health and Hope – Perspectives of Persons Experiencing Homelessness – Salud y Esperanza is a Photovoice presentation of over 50 photos and stories created by persons experiencing homelessness with cancer and chronic health conditions residing at the Opportunity Center for the Homeless. In July 2022, 7 individuals experiencing homelessness were recruited by the University of Texas at El Paso to be part of a study using the Photovoice methodology, a Participatory Action Research approach that allows participants to share their perspectives through narrative and photography.
