We are property management company that manages a 64000 sq ft office building in Missouri City, TX. We are looking for a reliable Handyman to provide routine landscaping, install drywall, plumbing, paint walls/floors, maintani hvac, install electrican and renovate office suites in the building. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. Qualifications High school or equivalent (Preferred) Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred) Handyman: 2 years (Preferred) Driver's License (Preferred) Full Job Description The Maintenance Technican will be responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks throughout the day, which could include, but is not limited to: carpentry work; electrical; plumbing; painting; HVAC; flooring; outdoor landscaping and general facility repairs. The Handyman reports directly to the property manager. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Electrical repairs and maintenance: light bulbs, wiring, circuit breakers, fuses Carpentry & General Construction: woodwork, sanding, painting, etc General Plumbing: Toilets, faucets, fix leaks, etc Facility Repairs: doors, doorknobs, locks, broken tiles, polish floors, staining, etc Outdoors: landscaping and gardeningl; sidewalks and driveways, etc PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to reach and to lift materials weighing up to 70 lbs. Manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance are required. Ability to stand, walk, and move rapidly for an eight (8) hour work shift. Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn, climb stairs and on trucks. Ability to perform repetitious arm and wrist movements. Mental alertness to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities. On occasion, able to work other shifts and overtime. Ability to learn new tasks and procedures. Ability to move furniture and equipment. Responsibilities Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc. Perform maintenance and light repairs Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.) Undertake light installation or carpeting (e.g. build cabinets) Repair equipment or appliances Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs Identify and report the need for major repairs Skills Proven experience as handyman Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems Basic math skills Good communication ability Well-organized and apt in problem-solving Attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent Duration 2-week project that could lead to longer job role. You will be paid daily through Cash APP, Zelle, Cash (case by case basis). Work Hours: 3pm-8:30pm, Monday - Friday. Weekend hrs are also available. Compensation Job starts at $11 hr.
