Learn from our diverse panel of housing and housing policy experts and participate in roundtable discussions with them. Jed Leano - Claremont City Councilmember, Chair of the Regional Housing Trust. Jed will discuss local government housing policy and how to fund and finance the planning and construction of homeless housing, and extremely low, very low, and low-income housing projects through the Regional Housing Trust Jenna Horstock - Planning and Programs for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), City of Los Angeles Planning Commissioner. Jenna will discuss how developers can use cities' Housing Elements as a tool to develop affordable housing along with Regional Early Action Planning (REAP) grants Tish Kelly - Senior VP of Housing Development for Jamboree Housing. Tish will describe Jamboree's experience maneuvering through community resistance and support for their Larkin Place permanent supportive housing project in Claremont. Paul Cho - Chief Financial Officer, LifeArk, developer of the LifeArk permanent supportive housing project in El Monte. Paul will discuss the innovative construction method of Life Ark and its potential for solving the high cost of affordable housing construction.
