The 22nd annual JEWEL Awards sponsored by the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce will be held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 6:30 PM. The JEWEL Awards celebrates locally owned African American businesses and their commitment to fulfill their own American dream with endurance and perseverance. Awards are presented to businesses based on the number of years in business. Ruby award 1-5 years, Diamond award 6-10 years, Emerald Award 11-20 years and the Jewel for more than 20 years of service to the community.
