Join Northside Economic Opportunity Network and West Broadway Business & Area Coalition for their monthly business luncheon every 3rd Thursday of each month! This month's topic is "Commercial Property Development" Tabitha Fischer and Jason Brisson with the City of Minneapolis will be joining us to talk about the city programming available to small businesses and commercial property owners or people simply interested in learning more about Commerical Property Development. They will speak on the following three City programs for commercial property owners and small businesses: 1. Commercial Property Development Program: helps fund developers and small business owners build new real estate and property. 2. 2% Business Loan Fund: this program helps small businesses buy equipment and improve their building. 3. Facade Improvement Matching Grants: this program helps fix up program for exterior and permanent interior work. Meet the Panelists Tabitha Fischer is a Business Specialist for the City of Minneapolis, and her tole is to help businesses to start, stay and grow in Minneapolis. She assists businesses with property site search and selection, regulatory navigation, and bridging connections in the commercial property market. She also connects businesses to financing programs and workforce training and recruitment programs. Jason Brisson is an Economic Development Specialist for the City of Minneapolis. He administers the City's economic development programs and related transactions that assist businesses, commercial properties, and districts. These programs provide small business and commercial real estate loans, neighborhood business district support, and revenue bond financing.
