Join us at The Square West Palm Beach on February 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for The Second Annual Black History Month Kickoff Event: See What I Can Be! presented by Rohi's Readery and The Office of African and African American Studies. Last year we had over 500 loving community members join us!! Rohi's Readery and the School District’s Office of African, African American, Latino, Holocaust, and Gender Studies will host a celebration to kick off Black History Month 2023. Join us to celebrate the multifaceted history and culture of African Diasporic people Entitled, See What I Can Be, the spirit of this event is to uplift a narrative that promotes pride amongst students through representation. This is a free event open to families that will include live music, vendors, classes for children, and workshops for adults. It will take place on Saturday, February 4th from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm at The Square located in downtown West Palm Beach. From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. enjoy live music, yoga, speakers, classes, and kid activity stations at The Square and shop and meet Local Black-Owned Businesses and Children's Books Authors at the artisan market.
