This work is during the snow season. A shoveler must have reliable transportation to and from any work site. Be able to physically able to work outdoors, in possible extreme weather conditions for several hours at a time. Availability each time it snows, and report either to a central location or directly to the jobsite. Must dress appropriately for all weather conditions. Duties includes Being available to work and arriving each time it snows. removing snow on assigned commercial sites on an “as needed” basis. Primary function is to remove snow using a shovel or snow blower on walkways, thoroughfare’s, etc. Also, includes the following: spreading salt or sand after shoveling. Removing snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants or sidewalks. Shovelers may also assist snow removal teams (Drivers) with their snow removal responsibilities. Stay in communication with supervisor/manager. Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager. Usage of mobile time sheet is a MUST. Pay Rate: $35.00/hr (Net 7-Days)
