Our Service area would include Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties. With 10 years in the installation business, we are looking to grow our team with full subcontractor flooring crews. With pay immediately following completed projects, we also focus on treating the subcontractors right. I am proud to say I have never missed a payday for employees or subs. The goal is to emphasize service and timeliness. Our standard is to only have one project per crew at a time. In and out. Paid per job, not per hour. So as long as the quality is strong, you can work as fast as you need to. We are trying to keep our lead time to around 2 weeks to best serve our customers. We do not want ALL jobs, we only want the RIGHT jobs, with customers who are willing to pay a little more for higher quality and speedy results. Checklist: Service Area (any or all) Lake, Cook, McHenry Counties? What Types of Pre-finished floorings do you install? Installation rates? Installation methods (floating, glue, nail, staple)? Years in business? Fully Insured? English Speaking? Crew Size? Ability to detach and reset appliances, toilets, and furniture? Install base shoe? Experience working as a sub-contractor? Are you able to work with a 2 week lead time? Can you provide photos of your work? Standards: We typically like to see a Monday-Friday work week, with the potential for overtime pay on weekends, but that is rare and only if it works with your schedule, not required. We want to be able to get our customers on the list and one of our install crews to get on-site within 2 weeks. Once on-site, we require project to be started beginning to end. Depending on the crew size, most jobs should be completed within 1-2 days. We emphasize customer care, so being presentable is key. Clean cut, no smoking on site, no swearing, no loud music, and positive customer interactions. Once the project is completed you will receive pay. 30-45 minute lunch break is reasonable. Bonuses for positive feedback from customers. No personal logos displayed/poaching customers. No visible logos on vehicles. Shirts can be provided with our company image.
