Job description AK Lighting Installer Starting at $20hr and can quickly move up to $25hr. Currently offering around 32 - 40 hours a week. employment type: part-time/full-time We are a small business that is growing! We install landscape, soffit lighting at residential homes, outdoor audio, and are looking for more installers. We are looking for someone who: Is able to be on their feet and outside for the entire workday. Is confident using tools such as a drill, etc. Is punctual. Has a valid driver’s license and is willing to drive to client homes. Has conversational skills for interactions with customers. Is willing to learn on-the-job how to install lighting systems. Is comfortable with standing on a ladder for long periods of time. Is comfortable doing labor such as trenching, bending, wiring, drilling, etc. Is able to follow directions and understand a landscape design. Is self-directed and comfortable working alone for periods of time. Is comfortable asking questions to ensure work is done properly. Is looking for part-time/full time work.. Other details: AK Lighting will provide a uniform shirt, but you must provide work boots and pants. We also have tools for employee use. You will receive training and on the job direction from another installer. Each workday, you will meet at the business garage to clock in and pick up supplies and load up the trucks, and then drive to the client’s property. You will end each business day at the garage, dropping off tools and excess supplies. Perks! - You'll work with a great team! - We pay for the entire day!
