Bridge Crane Operator / Rigger

Gillmann Services is currently seeking a skilled Bridge Crane Operator. This will be a minimum 2 week position, but could run longer. THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION. Description: Full Time, Average 50+ hours per week Working 5:30pm to 6am Monday-Friday Semi-outside work environment Operate lifting equipment Required to oversee rigging operations on assigned crane. Responsibilities: Read and interpret written instructions and crane charts and diagrams to perform task at hand. Verify that no lift exceeds 75% of de-rated capacity without going through critical lift process. Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered, then take corrective actions as needed. Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines. Inspect, clean, and perform operator level maintenance on equipment in accordance with Manufactures recommendations. Closely interact with the installation crews for movement of materials and equipment. Communicate with Foreman regarding any problems arising, materials required, or any hazards noted. Experience Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating cranes. Crane and OSHA certifications are a plus
