Imperial Glass & Metal; a Hillside, NJ based glass and aluminum services company, has a position open for a reliable, highly motivated experienced glazier/glass installer with a strong work ethic. We are also looking for an installation helper as well.
Job Description:
Ability to Install the following material:
- storefronts
- doors
- mirrors
- curtainwall
- shower doors
- aluminum composite panels(not required, but a plus)
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience in the flat glass industry
- Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels
- Physical ability to work with ladders, scaffolding and related equipment required for glass installation
- No fear of heights on a ladder or lift
- Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
- Complete every installation according to company expectations and leave each job site in a clean manner.
- Ability to layout and plan work to keep the project on schedule
- Good communication skills with supervisor, project managers, customers and co-workers
Compensation based off of candidate’s experience and skills.
