It’s never too late to start an exercise program, even if you have osteoporosis. In fact, strength training can prevent further fractures or falls.
In this informational session with Crosby Wellness Center fitness specialist Cody Chapin, you’ll learn how to properly and safely exercise to build strength while living with osteoporosis. Chapin will explain the many benefits of continuing with a fitness program after diagnosis and will share important do’s and don’ts when it comes to fitness activities. Learn how to live with osteoporosis and stay active, an important step in maintaining your overall health and wellbeing.
This program is presented by Cody Chapin and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation in collaboration with the Crosby Wellness Center.
About the Presenter:
Cody Chapin is a fitness specialist at the Crosby Wellness Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is a NASM certified personal trainer. He specializes in hypertrophy, strength training, injury recovery and wellness. In his free time, Cody enjoys weight training, car modifications, and live music.
