Come enjoy the delicate but powerful soprano vocal stylings of Emily Gradowski, accompanied by Evan Cooper on piano. Emily will be performing a collection of Art Songs in English with a smattering of arias mixed in. Emily will be presenting some of pieces that first introduced her to classical music and made her fall in love with the genre. These pieces will make you laugh, make you cry, and hopefully make you curious to hear more! What is an Art Song? Art song, in the Western classical music tradition, can be broadly defined as a short piece, typically for solo voice with piano (though can be with other collaborative instrumental) accompaniment, of serious artistic intent. $10 Stages Academy Students; $15 General Public Stages Music Arts is Baltimore's Premier Music School and Recording Studio located in Cockeysville, MD transforming lives through the power of music.
