Join Get Lit! as we make our first foray into general literary trivia! This trivia event is a fundraiser for the Get Lit! Festival. Get Lit! is a four-day celebration of literature that has been a community tradition in Spokane for 25 years—our 25th anniversary festival takes place in Spokane April 20th-23rd, 2023. This year's festival includes US Poet Laureate Ada Limon, along with many other talented writers from Spokane and beyond. Gather your team of 2 to 4 bookish friends and prepare to test your literary know-how! The game will cover categories like Banned Books; Classics; Famous First Lines; Spokane Authors; Book to Screen, and more! Tickets are $10 per person. You may purchase up to 4 tickets per team. Note that this year we will be presenting only ONE session of literary trivia, (preceded by a single session of Harry Potter Trivia, tickets below) so don't sleep on these tickets! Winners will receive a Get Lit! prize pack along with an Iron Goat appetizer! Session 1 @ 11:30 am-1:30 pm Harry Potter Trivia. Find tickets here. Session 2 @ 2:00 pm-4:00 pm *Literary Trivia* While you scribble your answers, you can enjoy delicious specialty food and drink provided by Iron Goat Brewing. The winning team will receive a special Get Lit! prize pack, a delicious Iron Goat appetizer, and all of the Spokane literary glory! All ages are welcome to attend, but anyone12 and older must purchase a ticket. Participation in these trivia fundraisers directly supports EWU's Get Lit! Programs.  Your contribution helps us to present 35+ free and low-cost events featuring over 60 authors from our region and beyond, at the annual Get Lit! Festival. These events help support creative writing students, local authors, and the lit-loving public by bringing writers from all over the country to speak, teach, and inspire here in Spokane.
