This is a ROOFING position, where you'll have the luxury of working with team oriented, competitive individuals, who get paid to make sure you're successful! This opportunity is an entry level position to start, meaning we provide training for the right candidates. Experience wanted in the following areas, but NOT NECESSARY IN ALL, as we are willing to train the right person. ROOFING ROOFING REPAIRS We provide excellent training potential and the chance to develop your skills in that will benefit you long-term. Requirements: Flexible Schedule Must be 18 or above Communication Skills Team player Duties: Inspecting the structure of roofs in order to determine the best course of action. Measuring and cutting materials to ensure that they fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls. Smoothing out rough spots on roofs to prepare the surface for new shingles or waterproofing. Replacing areas of clients' roofs that are damaged or rotting. Installing vapor barriers and insulation to create a more waterproof seal. Safely setting up ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment as required. Updating the supervisor on job progress and reporting any problems related to the job. Safely transporting all required equipment and materials to job sites. Complete other duties at the discretion of management.  MUST PASS BACKGROUND and DRUG SCREEN  Requirements: Proven roofing or general construction experience. Must follow Fall Protection/Safety Regulations Working knowledge of different roofing systems. Sound knowledge of business ordinances. The ability to lift heavy materials and tools, etc. at a minimum of 50 lbs. The ability to use powered hand tools. Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to climb ladders. Ability to withstand different climates (extreme heat and other weather). Ability to see. Ability to hear. Ability to communicate audibly with others. Significant Balance - work is done on slopes and flat roofs. No fear of heights.
