Let's connect with people and paper! This vision board/collage workshop is a hands-on experience where you get to create a visual representation of your vision and goals for the future. By cutting and combining words and images; you will tell a very personal story on a two-dimensional surface that can also be a piece of art to take home. You will receive creative direction, technique tips, and prompts, but this is truly an exercise of self-exploration and expression. The ONLY requirement is your willingness! Each ticket includes all crafting supplies, but participants are encouraged to bring photos, mementos, and embellishments to make it an even more personal project! (Can be done in a time capsule format where magazine and mementos into a jar with a photo and questionnaire too.) Any questions? Email [email protected] -- For a full refund to your original payment method, attendees must reach out to the Event Organizer for a refund 7 days in advance to the event. If after 7 days before the event, a credit to your account will be given. If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, your tickets are still valid for the new date and no further action is required. Emails will be sent to ticket holders notifying them of any available refund options for the event. -- Chinaka A. Young is the owner and candle maker of Story Candles and Goods — hand-poured candles and custom goods created and designed in Anacostia DC since 2019. Every aspect of the candle-making process from scent creation to pouring to branding to fulfillment is handled in-house.
