Enjoy a night of refreshments and conversations about woodland ownership with WOW at the Holden Arb in Kirtland Hills, OH on Tuesday, January 24th. Bring your cocoa mug and your land stewardship questions! This will be a time and opportunity to connect and share with other women and people who own woodland property as well as natural resource and forestry professionals from the region. After the indoor gathering we will venture outside with hot drinks for a night walk in the Arboretum. WHERE: The Holden Arboretum, Corning Visitor Center. 9500 Sperry Road, Kirtland, OH 44094 WHAT: A casual gathering over cocoa and snacks to meet, mingle and talk trees. Share goals, ask questions, and explore what resources women like you would appreciate when it comes to making confident woodland stewardship decisions. WHO: Come regardless of your level of management knowledge or expertise; whatever knowledge or experience everyone brings to the table is valuable. If you like trees, are concerned about the future of your woods, want to connect with other landowners, or just want a non-judgmental environment to ask the ‘stupid’ questions about land management, we’d love to connect! Forestry and natural resource professionals from north/east/central Ohio will be in attendance as well.
