We are looking for a new furever home for our male NewShep. He is 1 years old and VERY large. He weighs approximately 150 lbs right now and is not done growing yet. His mother is an AKC Newfoundland and his father is a CKC registered German Shepherd. He needs an active family and we are just too busy and travel too much to give him the amount of exercise and discipline he needs right now. He is amazing with kids(he let's our 4 year old climb all over him and basically ride him like a horse and he loves it) and he's great with other animals. He also gets along with our cat. Well she tolerates him. Haha He is a puppy we kept from our Newfie when she had a litter a year ago. We were hoping he would have the lazy demeanor his mother has but he definitely took after his father haha. We named him Hodor because of his size, loyalty, and dopiness, but I'm sure he could be renamed since he is still rather young. We really are hoping to find a loving active family for him, who are able to take on his size and energy. Please keep in mind the other costs associated with owning a large breed dog as well though. Food and medicine can add up quickly when he weighs between 150-200 lbs. We are asking a $300 rehoming fee for him to ensure he is going to a loving home who are ready and equipped to take on such a dog. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
