Hello, I'm looking for a mechanic for a current repair and for future repairs. I have a 2007 Toyota Highlander. The emergency brake pedal does not seem to be operating correctly. It can be pushed all the way in but the emergency brake does not engage the brake shoes completely. Also, when the emergency brake pedal is released, it does not return completely and is loose. I'm not sure if the cable and/or the emergency brake shoes need to be replaced or if something just needs to be adjusted. If the cable and brake shoes need to be replaced, I have checked and the parts are in stock & I can pick them up. I live in Merrimack, NH. The work can be done at my home or I can bring the car to you.
