Description
Wholesale distributor has an immediate opening for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, who will report to the Warehouse Manager. This is a full-time salaried position. Hours are M-F 7-3:30 with overtime.

• Key Responsibilities:
o Supervision of warehouse staff
o Validate customer orders via scanning thru AS400 system
o Ship customer orders according to preferred ship method
o Description of orders are as follows
Dot com customers (including all forms required)
Independent customers
Major accounts
o Provide backup in absence of key warehouse personnel
• Additional areas of responsibilities:
o Shelf stocking of product
o Back stock consolidation
o Box truck backup- If DOT Certified
o Cleanliness of work area and warehouse
o Container off-loads
o Other duties as assigned
• Education Level:
o High School diploma / GED
• Job Requirements:
o Ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously during workday.
o Standing, bending, walking for majority of workday.
o Read, write and understanding English, including numerical combinations.
o Understanding of computers and warehouse management systems
