On January 26, 2023 the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System will host an in person job fair at our Marion VA Hospital from 10am to 5pm. If you are a Registered Nurse, LPN, or Nursing Assistant we need you to help care for our Nation's Veterans. Full time, part time, weekends, night shift, day shifts are available. Career employees start earning benefits on day one. Including paid leave, health insurance, life insurance, retirement packages. Signing bonuses available for qualified applicants. RN Salary Range: $52,000 - `$107,000 LPN Compensation packages: $47,469 - $61,710 NA Compensation packages: $36,118 - $46,953 Compensation + Benefits = Your Total Reward$ Social Security paid by VA = 6.2% of taxable wages up to max of $132,900 on behalf of employee Employee Assistant Program = Free legal and medical services Medicare paid by VA = 1.45% on behalf of the employee FSAFEDS Flexible Spending Account = you may contribute up to $2,850 a year to your health care FSA with a $570 max carry over and 25% tax-free savings on $5,000 of dependent care expenses for two children Life Insurance = VA pays 1/3 of insurance cost for basic life insurance Thrift Savings Plan Federal 401(k) = VA provides up to 5% employer matched/automated contributions to your savings plan Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) = VA contributes 8.3% annually to FERS basic/defined benefit VHA National Child Care Program = assists VA employees in balancing work and family responsibilities. After 60 days of employment, full time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for childcare subsidy program (conditions apply). About this event Job Fair -Registered Nurses, LPN's, Nursing Assistants Attendees should preregister to schedule an interview on this date but walk-ins are welcome. Following pre-qualification of an attendee, interviews will be conducted same day. Attendees must bring a copy of their resume or provide an electronic copy through pre-registration to receive an interview. Applicants will need 2 forms of ID. A driver's license or state issued ID along with either a social security card, birth certificate, or US Passport. If you are a former Federal employee please bring a copy of your last SF-50.
