The Roofer will be working on residential roofs and is expected to possess knowledge and skills related to general construction, the use of hand tools, the ability to lift heavy objects, the ability to climb and balance on roofs, the ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers and basic knowledge of safety and safety procedures related to working on a roof. Knowledge of these systems is helpful but not required, WE WILL TRAIN YOU! Responsibilities: • Use the proper equipment and follow safety procedures when working on rooftops. • Install, repair, and maintain shingles, slate, tile, and sheet metal roofs. • Be familiar with the different types of roofs that can be found in the area and have knowledge of the materials used in each. • Carry tools and equipment up and down ladders and stairs. • Install various roofing materials including asphalt shingles and sheet metal. • Communicate with clients. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
