DIY basket making workshop (Adults and Youth ages 10 and up) Weave together local art and history Tickets provide participants with all materials, facilitated instruction, and a bit of story telling highlighting Appalachian heritage baskets and how they are woven deeply into local culture and history. This hands on workshop will allow participants to practice and learn basic techniques of basket making with pre cut materials, illustrated, step by visuals and patient help! ———— All basket makers are required to have a paid ticket. (Makers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the workshop.)
