Benedict College Women's Business Center (BC WBC) will host a one-hour workshop on workforce development and local resources to meet the employment and outsourcing needs of small businesses.
Guest speakers will include staff from South Carolina Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
The goal of vocational rehabilitation (VR) services is to support eligible persons with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment. Services provided by state VR offices may include assistance to pay for training, assistive technology or support for individuals to start their own business.
Light refreshments will be served.

Launched in September 2020, Benedict College Women's Business Center (BC WBC) seeks to initiate the leveraging required to support small, minority and women-owned businesses throughout the state of South Carolina. Aligning with Benedict College's mission as a catalyst for economic development, BC WBC serves as the first gender-focused statewide entrepreneurial initiative for socially and economically disadvantaged small and minority-owned businesses in the state.
