Greetings... Detroit Book City is ecstatic to partner with Party with a Tee in Wayne, MI to host a unique Black History Month Book Fair celebrating the remarkable achievements of independent writers of Black literature ~ Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 12:00pm - 5:00pm. The event will be held at Party with a Tee, 3158 S. Wayne Road, Wayne, MI 48184. We kick-off this event during Black History month to promote, preserve and sustain... a family's love for books! Expect to meet local authors who have written books across all genres with A-A and/or diverse characters, content and settings that maybe relatable to all walks of life. The local authors have some incredible stories and knowledge to share and we are happy to connect you with them. Do you share the love of books? We invite residents & businesses in the area... Wayne, Westland, Inkster, Romulus, Garden City, and Canton to attend. This is a free event, open to the public. Our first 20 door arrivals, get a free door prize!
