Craft Show Assistant & Driver

I am a textile/clothing and accessory designer selling at craft events around the country as well as in my French Quarter shop. I have 1 to 2 shows per month generally although there can be more or less depending on the season. I am looking for a fellow art lover to help with: - Driving my van anywhere from 2-8 hours a day to places like Fort Myers & Miami Florida, Sun Valley ID, Portland OR, Charleston SC, Ann Arbor MI, Northport AL, San Francisco & Mill Valley CA, Santa Fe NM, New York City and more! - Assisting with the setup & take down of the booth, it's hardy work! - Assisting in selling and engaging customers in the booth - one-of-a-kind wearable art textiles and accessories! - Assisting with some processing of transactions on the iPad with Shopify. - Must have an excellent driving record and be 25 years or older for insurance purposes. - Non-smokers preferred, sorry but no smoking in the van! :) - The timeframe for traveling is anywhere from 3-5 days at a time. - This is best suited for a woman (although not necessarily required) as we will likely be sharing hotel rooms or staying with other artist pals around the country. - The right candidate loves to travel, interact with new people, and is generally interested in the arts. - Depending on the person, there may be some studio work available in the off time. It is fun work and a great way to learn about craft markets, meet fellow artisans as well as see the country while making some money!
