Job Requirements:
Planning ahead:
-Ensure that all trades are coordinated effectively to maximize productivity.
-Predict upcoming materials requirements and coordinate deliveries of materials before they are needed.
-Request transfers of more or less man power to or from the site as needed.
Record Keeping:
-Record daily productivity of various crews and individuals.
-Maintain and update schedules.
-File all required paperwork including change orders, accident reports, time and materials used on the project.
-Review subcontractor invoices to verify work completed.
-Submit receipts and invoices to the office.
Setting The Bar:
-Maintain standards of professionalism.
-Oversee quality control.
-Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
-Work with trades people as necessary to make sure the job is completed on time. Lead by example.
-Apply cost efficient and effective management techniques.
Communication:
-Maintain regular communication with all parties involved.
-Communicate changes in the work and schedule to the client, and Vermont Construction office.
-Relay client needs to the office.
Discipline:
-Take disciplinary action as necessary with employees and subcontractors.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60-100k per year
