I’m a vocalist/harmonica player forming a four-piece roots cover band focused on pre-British Invasion – the tunes and artists that influenced the Beatles, Stones, Yardbirds and the rest. Blues, rockabilly, R&B, surf; Chess/Checker/Sun/Modern releases, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Muddy, Diddley, Dixon, etc. I have a drummer onboard. Looking for a guitarist and bassist with some vocal skills for the sake of variety. I’m mid-40s, experienced, based centrally in metro Detroit. Pro gear, PA, rehearsal space if necessary, willing to drive. Weekly rehearsals, gigs once/twice a month, camaraderie, fun.
