The text and email associated with this posting are not monitored. --- Job Overview: 1st shift - $21 /Hr- 40 hrs / OT – hours: M-F (4:30am-3pm) Typically: 6:30am-3pm 2-3 sat a month 4:30am-10:30am 2nd shift- $21 plus 2 shift differential- Train on days – Hours M-Th 3pm-1:30am (4 – 10 hours) No OT like first shift Position Summary: Preparation, processing, testing, crating, subassembly, and assembly of components for use in the air compressor pump and/ or the unit assembly process Job Responsibilities: - Will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on Company equipment, such as adding lubricants, removing debris, and keeping the work area in clean and orderly condition. - May be responsible for training other personnel as required. - Will produce products in accordance with the production schedule and allotted time frame for production. - Test parts and assembled units to assure a quality product. - Will immediately bring any cause for concern relating to his/her production capabilities to the attention of the supervisor, some member of management, or their designee. - Will endeavor to be highly accurate when reporting production amounts and stock used. - Will be responsible for reading, understanding and interpreting customer orders and Engineering Bills of Material, etc. - Bring any problems with prints and Bills of Material to the attention of the Supervisor or Group Leader. - Uses precision-monitoring instruments, common industrial hand tools and lubricating equipment required to keep the Company’s equipment in good operating condition. - May be required to use forklift truck, hand trucks, carts, hoists and ladders. - Uses and maintains personal protective equipment required to safely perform work. - Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. - Perform all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: - A two (2) year high school education, plus a minimum of two (2) years of assembly experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to use decimals and fractions, follow verbal instructions, and work from engineering specifications. Tools are supplied by the company.
