Rock band seeking female lead vocalist who plays keyboard or guitar

Band seeking female vocalist who can sing backups and lead vocals and who also plays keyboards or guitar and understands music theory and can write music and lyrics. We want someone who is dedicated, willing to put in the time and effort it takes to be a band that people want to come see or listen to. We are not in our 20s... a little older than that, but we have all had experience playing with bands and playing around Boston. Looking for someone with a great voice and a great attitude and who really wants to be in a band and play out. We practice about once a week and the plan would be to play out 1-2 times per month at the most. We are playing covers now, but will work into original music as well. Genres aren't as important as song quality and sound quality. We plan to use the winter to get really tight and to record demos in order to play out by spring. None of us is doing this to make money, but at the same time, we want to be compensated fairly for our time. We are not looking for someone who can fill in from time to time, but a full-fledged band member. We are fairly laid back, but we do take jamming and practicing seriously. We record our practices and we have the ability to make pretty good recordings both during practice and with demos. Let us know if you are interested and please send samples of your singing and playing. We can send you a sample of a rough cut of a song to give you an idea of our stuff. We are practicing this Thursday night, Jan 12th, so jamming this week is a possibility. Thank you.
