I’m offering one-on-one lessons in realist drawing and painting. I’m a professional painter with a teaching background. Lessons will be centered around the fundamentals of academic art. We’ll begin with rendering basic geometric shapes and build from there. Once students get down the basics, portraits, figures and landscapes will follow naturally. I also love to incorporate art history into my lessons. My goal is for students to have fun and express themselves. I teach technique and academic concepts as building-blocks towards this goal. While my background is in classroom teaching, I prefer working with students one-on-one. This dynamic allows me to really get to know students and their interests and to tailor lessons accordingly. Students will come to my studio in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn—not far from the L train. I look forward to working with you!
