Zeus is a sweet and silly boy looking for a new home, through no fault of his own. Zeus is a typical, fun loving, 6 year old husky boy. (Neutered, UTD on shots, good with kids, good with dogs, good with cats) He needs an active home with someone who can spend time hanging out and playing with him. Life happened and being on my own now is now and working up to 14 hours a day, 3-4 days a week isn’t conducive to husky ownership. About Zeus: he is SO SMART! He knows a lot of commands. Contrary to the husky stereotype he is very easily trainable and food/treat motivated. He is a world class cuddler, he will take all of the scritches and snuggles you’ll give. When he’s craving attention, he leans his whole body into your legs, it’s super cute. He’s a true pack animal. He wants to be near his person and will follow you around the house (but he’s good about not being right under your feet!) Zeus loves to sing, especially when greeting people. It’s like the garden party episode of The Office when Dwight thinks the more important someone is, the louder you need to announce them when they enter the party. Zeus thinks you’re very important. He LOVES to play! Tug is his favorite but he also really enjoys chewing on a good nylabone. Zeus loves all people and animals. He has been around children as young as 2 years old and he’s great with all ages! He currently lives with another dog and several cats. Zeus enjoys playing a bit rougher and is very vocal when he plays. Some (generally more timid) animals don’t like that, so I’m happy to do meet and greets with serious potential adopters! Zeus walks well on a leash but could work on his pulling. he just gets so excited and wants to go, go, go! He wears a gentle leader harness, which helps a lot. I want the BEST home for him, so there is a small rehoming fee, just to ensure pure intentions. He will go to his new home with all of his things (collar/leash, food bowl, toys, treats, etc) Please feel free to reach out, I’m happy to provide any additional information or pictures! Zeus’ humble brag - a list of the tricks he knows: tricks - sit, down, stay, high five, “other one” (opposite paw), gimmie ten, gimmie hug, gimmie kiss, spin around (this means clockwise), “other way” (counter clockwise spin), speak, howl, leave it, take it, bow, go inside (crate), and off. *smart boy* ^^ (Zeus is trained to hand signals/signs, his mom can teach the new parents all of the signs!)
