Cetacean Cruises is hiring boat captains for our dolphin cruises and our sailing excursions! We operate out of The Wharf Marina in Orange Beach, AL. Email your resume to [email protected]. Dolphin Cruises: Our dolphin cruises are aboard The Explorer, a 40-foot pontoon-style catamaran. This vessel is equipped with a full-service cocktail bar and restroom. Our captains work seamlessly with two deckhands to ensure the safety and positive experiences of our passengers! Captain is responsible for tour narrations, general boat maintenance [and communicating maintenance/ boat issues with management], and ensuring that boat cleanliness is maintained by crew. This position pays a set wage with opportunities to earn gratuity. Must be a licensed Master with a minimum of 50-gross tons. Sailing Excursions: Our sailing cruises are aboard The Cetacean, a 52-foot sailing catamaran. These relaxing excursions feature a full-service cocktail bar and restroom on board. Captain must be a licensed Master with a sailing endorsement. This is not a narrated tour, but some dialogue is required. Captain ensures the safety of passengers and two crew members with frequent boat inspections, and ensures boat cleanliness is maintained by crew.
