Please read ENTIRE description before contacting us. We are looking for people that are willing, able and who will show up to work everyday on time. Do not waste our time or yours by contacting us if you are not serious about working for our company. Please do not contact us if you are an employment agency. We are not hiring for sub-contractors only labor employees. We are a marine construction company. We build docks/decks, boathouses, retaining walls/bulkheads, etc. You would be required to work near, in and around water. Applicants would need to be able to physically withstand working outside near and/or in water, be able to work in different weather temperatures and conditions (not during storms), MUST have reliable transportation, show up to work on time, no playing on cell phones/electronics during work hours, be capable of lifting/toting/carrying materials, etc. Experience is not required but willingness/ability to learn is a requirement. Being a self-starter is a major plus. Only respond if you are a serious applicant and willing/capable of working a labor position. Work locations change from job to job. Applicants will need to be able to get to and from each jobsite. Locations of job sites could be anywhere in North Florida. Examples of job locations are Orange Park, Middleburg, Jacksonville area, Palatka, Green Cove Springs, St. Augustine Beach, etc. It may be possible that applicants could meet at a certain location everyday and carpool with current employees to each job site. Carpooling would need to be discussed between current employees and new hires, not management. Work day starts at sunrise, which is usually 7am and work day usually ends around 3pm. Average daily hours are between 7-9 hours per day, depending on weather.
