Drummer & Guitarist seek bass for early Prog / Metal / World / Jazz

We're a skilled drummer and creative guitarist / writer working on original music which incorporates lots of time signature and feel changes but always in service to the song and groove. The drummer is versed in the rhythmic scale, reads and writes notation, and plays guitar and bass which allows for great communication. I'm the guitar player and principal writer, thus far. I’m influenced by classical music, 70s Prog, Jazz, Metal, and World music (Afrobeat, Middle Eastern music, etc.). We're primarily focused on original material but we want to add occasional interesting and off the beaten path covers. The music leaves lots of room for individual voices. We each have our own approach to the music and seek the same in a bassist. We're no-drama, we show up on time and we put in the work. We also have fun and look forward to hearing from folks with the same outlook.
