Temporary to Hire Pay Rate: $17-20 depending on experience Core Hours: 5AM to 1:30PM core shift, expected daily overtime up to an additional 4 hours per day and up to 8 hours on Saturday (some Sunday work may also be requested on occasion) JOB SUMMARY, AUTHORITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: This position is responsible for the storage and movement of material throughout the facility and in the supermarket. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Pull supermarket items based on part number and quantity requirements. Manages stock replenishment for respective assembly cells. Retrieves and organizes totes, pallets, carts, baskets, cantilevers, etc. as required. Verifies inventory by comparing them to physical stock counts and investigates discrepancies including demand counting. Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on size, turnover and rack space entering supermarket. Disposition orders and communicate any material shortages to Supervisor/Buyer/Planner Operate motorized lifts and tugger equipment EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED equivalent At least 2 years’ experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment Experience in forklift operations and maintenance SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail Possess the ability to work quickly and accurately Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to comprehend and execute written or oral instructions Basic knowledge in an assembly/manufacturing environment Good communicational skills at all levels Attention to detail Safety oriented Quality driven Basic computer skills Team player Good problem solver Document control Mechanical knowledge/tools Must have ability to pass background and drug screen.
