A dimly lit restaurant with a Friday fish fry your dad picked up, to bring home for a family meal at the end of the week. Or that your mom called her friends to set up a “group” of couples to meet- big hair and deep dark lipstick piled into the Buick and headed toward a night out. Maybe this club filled with people- and smoke- after the local varsity game- or after the last hay-bail of fall harvest. Or the first snow of the year- or just every Wednesday when a prime rib special and hot toddy were calling grandma and grandpa's name. Well we aren’t too far off from that experience at Whitney VBC everyday- dim lights, big smiles, fresh crafted cocktails, local (HOUSEMADE) beer and a bar top where everyone knows your name! The Menu: Course 1: Relish Tray Local-cheese, chilled roasted veggies and pickled what-nots. Course 2: Fried Portabellas Local portabellas beer-battered with Velouté sauce. Course 3: Braunschweiger Crostini/ Vegetarian option: Caprese Crostini Course 4: Prime Strip Steak and Garlic Parmesan risotto. Vegetarian option: Risotto Stuffed Bellpepper Course 5: Chocolate Teton Mousse Cake Vegetarian option: Vegan Cheesecake Vegetarian and Non-Alcoholic pairings have also been prepared and are available upon request.
