Dan Hobbs set a new self supported Colorado 14er record in 2022: 58 14ers in 14 days. Come hear a tale as tall as the summits with wild weather, car crashes, and pushing the human body to its limits while successfully summiting 58 14ers in 14 days. Racing mountains has brought Dan valuable experiences in finding inner calmness while overcoming countless obstacles. He’ll briefly share on learnings from trying to create the perfect logistics plan for highly unpredictable mountains and we’ll explore the training and gear needed on multi day Colorado mountain pursuits. Dan Hobbs started climbing mountains later in life, but once he started, he never looked back. Accumulating hundreds of summits and finding a knack for multi day endurance challenges, he recently set the self-supported 14er record in 2022. Coming from a flat midwestern state he finds creative ways to train to race the highest peaks in North America.
